Ingredients
- 1 small head cabbage, sliced into strips
- 1 lb. ground beef or turkey, browned
- 1 small onion, diced and browned with meat
- 1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz. or 10 oz.) can puree
- 1 c. instant white rice, cooked
- 1 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- After browning meat with onion, drain.
- Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour, adding small amounts of water as needed.
