Ingredients

  • 6 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 cakes yeast
  • 1/2 c. hot lowfat milk
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 3 Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 4 jars nut or possibly poppy seed filling

Method

  • Dissolve yeast in hot lowfat milk; set aside.
  • Combine flour, butter, salt, sugar, Large eggs and lowfat sour cream.
  • Add in yeast mix; blend well.
  • Divide dough into 4 parts and roll our each part thin as for jelly roll.
  • Spread each part with one full jar of nut or possibly poppy seed filling.
  • Roll up and place on greased pan and allow to rise for 1 hour or possibly till doubled in bulk.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 min.
  • Sprinkle top with confectioners sugar.
