Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pcs
  • 2 lg. carrots, scraped & thinly sliced
  • 1 pound potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 3 c. (sm. bunch) fresh broccoli, cut into 2 inch pcs
  • 1 med. onion, halved & sliced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 pound link turkey sausage, cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 3/4 c. water

Method

  • In large skillet, over low heat, cook bacon till crisp.
  • Remove with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels.
  • Add in vegetables and seasonings to pan drippings.
  • Cook over medium heat, 5 min, tossing frequently.
  • Add in turkey slices and water.
  • Cover and cook on medium-low heat, 15 to 20 min or possibly till potatoes are tender, tossing occasionally.
  • Crumble bacon, sprinkle on top.
  • Serves 4 to 6.
