Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz.) can tuna fish
  • 1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can golden mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Method

  • Cook macaroni until tender.
  • Put aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter.
  • Saute the onion and pepper in butter until tender. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, place the tuna fish, onion, pepper, butter and macaroni.
  • Add the mushroom soup; mix well.
  • Add grated cheese. Add finally the sugar and pepper.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour milk over top and mix slightly.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
