Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 (13 oz.) can tuna, drained
- 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar or Velveeta cheese
- 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 can French-fried onions
- 4 to 5 medium raw potatoes, peeled and sliced
Method
- Melt butter in 2-quart glass baking dish.
- Arrange potatoes in bottom of dish.
- Bake, covered, with a paper towel for about 10 minutes.
- The potatoes should be almost done.
- Combine soup and milk in 4-cup glass bowl, microwave 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.
- Spread tuna and cheese over potatoes.
- Pour heated soup mixture over tuna. Top with French-fried onions and microwave, uncovered, 5 to 7 minutes or until casserole is heated through and cheese is melted.
