Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 c. walnuts, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt and nuts.
- Divide dough and shape into rolls. Wrap; chill in refrigerator overnight.
- In the morning, slice to desired thickness.
- Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375° to 400° until light brown.
