Ingredients

  • 150 grams Ground pork
  • 1 small Potato (50 g)
  • 10 cm Japanese leek
  • 1 cm each Ginger and garlic (from a tube)
  • 2 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp of each Sake, sugar, soy sauce, mirin

Method

  • Finely chop the Japanese leeks, and grate the potatoes.
  • Add the ground pork to the ingredients from step 1 along with the ingredients marked with , and mix together with a spatula.
  • Make the patties as big as you like and fry in a heated pan.
  • Use a non-stick pan so you don't need oil.
  • Flip over once they've browned on one side, cover with a lid, and continue cooking (at low to medium heat).
  • Add the ingredients marked with , and you are done once the patties have become evenly coated.
