Ingredients

  • 1 lb. trout fillets
  • 2 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 4 oz. chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 to 1 lemon, sliced

Method

  • Place trout in a 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
  • In small bowl, combine crumbs, onion, pepper, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
  • Spread over fish; top with lemon slices.
  • Cover with wax paper. Microwave at High 5 to 7 minutes, or until fish flakes easily. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes.
