Ingredients
- 3 c. Professional cake mix or 1 box Duncan Hines chocolate cake
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 egg
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. coconut
- 2 eggs
- 1 (16 oz.) box 10x sugar
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. shredded coconut
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix and press first 3 ingredients into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Next, mix cream cheese and 1 cup coconut with beater.
- Add 2 eggs, then slowly add confectioners sugar.
- Spread mixture over chocolate mixture.
- Top with 1 cup chocolate chips, 1 cup pecans and remaining coconut.
- Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Brownie should be completely cooked but feel slightly soft to touch.
