Ingredients

  • 3 c. Professional cake mix or 1 box Duncan Hines chocolate cake
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (16 oz.) box 10x sugar
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. shredded coconut

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Mix and press first 3 ingredients into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Next, mix cream cheese and 1 cup coconut with beater.
  • Add 2 eggs, then slowly add confectioners sugar.
  • Spread mixture over chocolate mixture.
  • Top with 1 cup chocolate chips, 1 cup pecans and remaining coconut.
  • Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Brownie should be completely cooked but feel slightly soft to touch.
