Ingredients
- 3 to 4 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped (2 1/2 c. stewed tomatoes may be substituted)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 one-day-old biscuits, crumbled
- 1/4 c. (or more) sugar
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 graham crackers, crumbled
Method
- In baking dish, arrange layers of bread crumbs and tomatoes. Sprinkle each layer of tomatoes with sugar and nutmeg.
- Put graham cracker crumbs over the top and dot with butter.
- Bake in a 350° oven about 30 minutes.
