- 1 cup sesame oil
- 1 pinch hing
- 1 12 teaspoons mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon methi seeds
- 2 -3 red chilies
- 3 cups tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- salt
Method
- Put oil in a pan.
- Add hing, mustard seeds, methi seeds& red chillies.
- Let this crackle.
- Add tomato paste and mix.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Cook til oil leaves the pickle.
- Spoon into a jar and serve when desired.
