Ingredients
- 1 c. plain flour
- salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 can tomatoes, drained
- basil, chopped
- parsley, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
Method
- Stir just until mixed.
- Drop by tablespoon into hot oil.
- Cook until brown on each side.
- May be served as a vegetable with meats or with cocktails as hors d'oeuvres.
