Ingredients

  • 12 sausages
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 180 grams plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 grams salt
  • 360 ml full fat milk

Method

  • Put sausages and oil into an oven proof dish and cook at gas mark 6 for about 20 mins
  • Mix all other ingredients together to make the batter.
  • (I just bung it all in the food processor and wizz it for 5 mins) then leave to sit at room temperature until sausages are nearly cooked.
  • Turn oven up to high (Gas mark 8 or 9) for a couple of mins to get the oil really hot.
  • Pour batter over sausages and put back.on oven at high temperature for 10 mins.
  • Turn temp down to Gas mark 6 and continue cooking for around 30 mins or until the batter is filed and golden brown.
