- 1 1/2 c. green beans (string beans)
- 1 1/2 c. wax beans
- 1 1/2 c. kidney or pinto beans
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. onion, sliced thin
- 1 c. green bell pepper, sliced thin
- 1 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1/2 can or small jar pimientos, chopped
- 1 c. diced or thin sliced carrots
Method
- Rinse and drain all beans.
- Mix vegetables in large plastic container.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly and pour over vegetables.
- Do not stir.
- Put tight lid on container and toss occasionally.
- Refrigerate.
