Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter (room temperature)
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. crushed corn flakes
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 3 1/2 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
  • Add egg; mix well.
  • Add oats, corn flakes, coconut and nuts; stir well.
  • Sift dry ingredients; add to butter mixture.
  • Mix well.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet, or make into small balls. Bake at 325° for 12 minutes.
