Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 2 cans (8 oz.) tomatoes
- 3/4 c. uncooked rice
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- salt to taste
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- In a 10-inch skillet, cook and stir meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients; heat thoroughly.
- Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole.
- Cover and bake until rice is tender, 30 to 35 minutes.
