Ingredients
- 2 small onions
- 1 large bell pepper
- 3 tsp. cooking oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1/2 c. washed, uncooked rice
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
Method
- Cook onion and pepper in oil until onions are yellow.
- Add ground beef and fry until mix falls apart.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Pour into greased 2-quart baking dish.
- Cover and bake 1 hour at 350°.
- Remove cover last 15 minutes of baking time.
