Ingredients
- 24 chicken wings
- 1 c. naturally brewed soy sauce
- 3/4 c. scallions with tops, chopped
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. salad oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger or 1 Tbsp. ginger root, grated
Method
- Disjoint chicken wings; discard tips.
- Blend soy sauce, scallions, sugar, oil, garlic and ginger in large mixing bowl. Stir in chicken pieces; cover and marinate 30 minutes.
- Remove chicken; reserve marinade.
- Place chicken side by side in shallow baking pan, skin side down.
- Bake in preheated 350° oven for 15 minutes.
- Turn pieces over; baste with reserved marinade and bake 15 minutes longer.
