Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 lb. cut up dates
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
Method
- Mix together butter, dates and sugar.
- Cook over low flame, stirring constantly until mixture boils.
- Mix together egg (beaten), milk and salt.
- Add to date mixture.
- Cook 2 minutes and cool.
- Add nuts and Rice Krispies.
- Form into 1-inch balls and roll in chopped nuts or coconut.
- Store in refrigerator.
