Ingredients

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 200 grams lardons
  • 200 grams yellow onions
  • 1 nutmeg
  • 1/2 roblochon
  • 1 oil
  • 1 salt
  • 1 pepper

Method

  • skin the potatoes and cut them in little dices.
  • put them in hot water to soften them
  • slic the onion, warm a pan with oil inside, put the onions, then the potatoes until they get golden around, gratt the nutmeg, add salt and pepper and finally the bacons
  • slice horizontally the half cheese in 3 silices.
  • in a pot for oven, put one stage of the potatoes mix, then put the middle slice of the cheese, then put the rest of the potatoes mix and finally put the sluces of cheese with the skin on the top
  • cook during 20 minuted.
  • after the first 10mins, put the grill on to make the cheese skin crusty
  • Can be serve with a green salad (sliced baby lettuces) with french dressing : olive oil, balsamic vinager, mustard, salt & pepper
