Ingredients
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2/3 c. melted oleo (1 stick and 2 Tbsp.)
- 3 well beaten eggs
- 1 or more tsp. milk if dough is too dry
- fruit filling
Method
- Sift together first 3 ingredients.
- Add oleo and eggs.
- Add milk if dough is too dry.
- Roll or press 1/2 of the dough into ungreased 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inch pan.
- Place filling on top of dough and with remainder of dough roll out and cut into strips and lattice it across the top of filling.
- Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Do not overbake.
