Ingredients

  • 3 each cardamom pods shells discarded, keep the seeds
  • 1 each cloves, whole
  • 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
  • 2 tablespoons onion, dried flakes
  • 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns

Method

  • Grind all ingredients together in a spice grinder or use a pestle and mortar.
  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Use whole spices if you can and grind them yourself.
  • It will make a huge difference on the amount of flavor.
