Ingredients

  • 1 c. crushed saltines (about 30 crackers)
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 c. mushroom stems and pieces; drained
  • 1 can sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 2 lbs. lean ground beef
  • salsa
  • sour cream
  • shredded cheddar cheese

Method

  • In a bowl, combine first eight ingredients.
  • Add beef; mix well.
  • Press into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
  • Bake uncovered, at 350° for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until meat thermometer read 160°.
  • Serve with salsa, sour cream, cheese, and additional olives if desired.
