Ingredients

  • 2 (1 lb.) cans refried beans
  • 1 pkg. Ortega "hot" taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg. regular taco seasoning
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar Ortega medium salsa
  • 1 pt. sour half and half
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • ripe olives, chopped
  • 1 1/2 lb. Cheddar (medium to sharp) cheese, finely grated

Method

  • On a platter, mix beans and taco seasonings thoroughly and spread in an even layer.
  • Spread each of the following layers evenly in order:
  • sour half and half, salsa, shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, green onions and ripe olives.
  • Serve with chips.
