Ingredients

  • 2 (1 lb.) cans French-cut green beans
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. small curd cottage cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/8 tsp. dried tarragon
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 1 tsp. instant minced onion

Method

  • Drain green beans and arrange half in bottom of a greased 2-quart baking dish. Beat eggs.
  • Blend in salt, pepper, tarragon and onion. Add cheeses to mixture. Spoon half of mixture over green beans. Add remaining green beans. Spread remaining mixture on top. Bake in a 350° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned on top.
