Ingredients
- 6 pieces round or cube steak
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 medium onion
- 1 small bell pepper
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 c. Crisco oil
Method
- Salt and pepper pieces of steak and coat with flour.
- Brown in oil and drain on paper.
- Put steak in casserole dish and cover with layers of sliced onions, peppers and mushrooms.
- Cover with tomato sauce and bake, covered, in a 325° oven for 45 minutes. Serves 6.
