Ingredients

  • 2 boxes frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1 c. cooked macaroni
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 2/3 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine

Method

  • Cook and drain mixed vegetables.
  • Rinse and drain kidney beans.
  • Mix all vegetables and macaroni together.
  • Mix remaining ingredients in saucepan.
  • Cook until thick.
  • Pour over vegetables while still hot.
  • Mix well.
  • Refrigerate overnight or longer.
