Ingredients

  • sweet and sour sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups golden brown sugar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • meatballs
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 small minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Method

  • Make the sauce by whisking all ingredients together. "You might have some left over. Keep it you can use it later for something else".
  • Mix ingredients together for the meatballs.
  • Roll them into small balls.
  • Fry in hot oil until nicely browned.
  • Remove meatballs from skillet and put meatballs in a casserole or baking dish.
  • Pour sweet and sour sauce over meatballs.
  • Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
