Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- sprinkle of garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2/3 c. Heinz chili sauce
- 2/3 c. red currant or grape jelly
Method
- Combine all ingredients except last 2 and form meat mixture into 40 meatballs using a rounded teaspoonful for each.
- Brown meatballs lightly in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Cover; cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Drain excess fat.
