Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • sprinkle of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2/3 c. Heinz chili sauce
  • 2/3 c. red currant or grape jelly

Method

  • Combine all ingredients except last 2 and form meat mixture into 40 meatballs using a rounded teaspoonful for each.
  • Brown meatballs lightly in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  • Cover; cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat.
