Ingredients
- 16 oz. green beans, french style, drained and rinsed
- small onion, chopped
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
Method
- Fry bacon crisp.
- Remove from skillet; saute onion in bacon drippings.
- Remove all but 1 to 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings. Add vinegar and sugar.
- Add drained and rinsed green beans. Simmer until most of liquid is gone.
- Add bacon, toss and serve.
