Ingredients
- 2 (1 lb.) cans Del Monte green beans
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- dash of hot pepper
- 4 slices bacon
Method
- Drain beans. Put in 9 x 13-inch casserole.
- Place sliced onions over beans.
- Make a melted sauce out of next 5 ingredients. Pour over beans and onions.
- Add bacon, cut in quarters.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
- You have to taste to appreciate.
