Ingredients
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Mix eggs, sugar and pineapple in large bowl.
- Add flour, soda, salt, vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased pan (I sometimes use sheet cake pan).
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350° (sheet pan at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes).
- Cake will be golden brown.
- Test with toothpick.
