Ingredients
- 2 medium onions
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 3 slices white bread
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. bouillon
- 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Fry onions in butter until golden brown.
- Soak bread in 1/2 cup milk.
- Combine ground meat with fried onions, soaked bread, eggs, salt and pepper.
- Roll into 1-inch balls and fry in butter or oil until evenly browned.
- Shake pan often to keep ball round. Remove meatballs; add flour to fat and blend.
- Add bouillon and milk; cook until sauce is smooth and thickened.
- Add meatballs; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Serve over noodles.
