Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. water
- 1/4 c. oil
- 12 oz. chili sauce
- 10 oz. jar grape jelly
Method
- In a large bowl, mix the first 9 ingredients.
- Shape into small meat balls.
- Heat 1/2 cup oil in large skillet on medium heat.
- Place meatballs in oil.
- Cover and cook slowly.
- Turn meatballs occasionally.
- Drain oil.
- Mix chili sauce and grape jelly in skillet; heat until blended.
- Add meatballs, cover and simmer about 20 minutes.
- Makes about 20 meatballs.
