Ingredients

  • 1 large can milk
  • 1 small bottle cherries
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 c. flour

Method

  • Grease and flour
  • Bundt pan. Use large mixing bowl to cream oleo, sugar and eggs. Drain cherry juice into this mixture. Chop cherries, keeping separate. Add milk and vanilla to mixture. Put flour and baking powder in sifter. Sift in separate container. Add flour and baking powder mix to mixture slowly with mixer running. Mix well. Stir in nuts and cherries. Pour in pan. Bake 1 hour at 350°.
