Ingredients
- 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chip bits
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 2 c. heavy cream, whipped
- 1 angel food cake
Method
- Melt chocolate over hot water.
- Add sugar and egg yolks; mix thoroughly.
- Remove from heat and fold in whipped cream and egg whites.
- Tear angel food cake into bite-sized pieces.
- Put layer into buttered pan, using half of cake.
- Cover with layer of chocolate mixture and repeat.
- Place in refrigerator overnight.
