Ingredients
- 2 egg whites (room temperature)
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 c. walnuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- food coloring (optional)
Method
- Set oven to 350° before starting.
- Line 2 cookie sheets with tinfoil.
- In mixer, beat egg whites until thick and foamy. Gradually add sugar while mixer is in motion.
- Beat until glossy, stiff peaks form.
- Remove bowl from mixer and add vanilla, chocolate chips and walnuts, until blended.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
- Shut oven off and put cookie sheets in oven. Leave in oven overnight or at least 3 to 4 hours.
- Food coloring can be added after mixing, if desired.
