Ingredients

  • 1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes, shredded (not diced)
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 2 c. crushed corn flakes

Method

  • Mix hash brown potatoes, grated Cheddar cheese and chopped onion together.
  • Mix sour cream, soup and melted margarine together.
  • Combine potato mixture and soup mixture in large bowl. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle crushed corn flakes over the top.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  • Everyone loves it.
