Ingredients

  • cumin
  • chili powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • cayenne
  • 1lb. 90% fat free ground meat
  • 1lb. ground buffalo
  • 1lb. ground turkey
  • 2 cans rotel tomatoes
  • 1 16 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 16 oz container of Medium Pace Picante sauce
  • 1 can of beans (either kidney or black - I prefer black)

Method

  • 1. mix all the meat together
  • 2. Generously season the meat with cumin and chili powder two times (cover meat with seasoning, mix meat up so seasoning is throughout)
  • 3. Season the meat two more times with cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, cayenne (meat should be dark orange in color)
  • 4. Saute meat in cooking pot until brown and broken up
  • 5. Add remaining ingredients and water for desired consistency.
  • 6. Bring to boil
  • 7. Reduce fire to medium/low, cook for 2 hours stirring occasionally
  • 8. Recommend eating with grated cheddar cheese and corn bread.
