Ingredients

  • 1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles
  • 12 cup slivered almonds
  • 12 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 34 cup oil
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 12 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag Coleslaw

Method

  • Break noodles into small pieces (save the seasonings for another use).
  • Place noodles, almonds, and sunflower kernels in a pan and drizzle with butter, tossing to coat.
  • Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring several times.
  • When done, set aside.
  • Combine the oil, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and salt and toss with cabbage.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Stir in crispy noodles, nuts and seeds just before serving.
  • Serve with a slotted spoon.
