Ingredients

  • 1 lb small shell pasta,cooked
  • 1 15 oz can mandarin oranges
  • 1 small can pineapple tidbits
  • 1 med garden cucumber peeled and diced
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 c salad dressing
  • 1/4 c white vinegar
  • 1/2 c white sugar

Method

  • Cook pasta in a 6 qt pot of boiling salted water untill al dente. drain in a colander and rinse with cold water. place cooked ,cooled pasta in a large bowl.
  • While the pasta is cooking drain the mandarin oranges and the pineapple tidbits, Let sit in colander while making sauce.
  • In a small bowl combine the salad dressing,vinegar and sugar and mix wtih a spoon till ingredients are well blended.
  • Peel cucumber and dice and add to pasta bowl
  • Clean and chop the green onion and add to pasta bowl.
  • Add the drained fruit to pasta bowl.
  • Pour sauce over pasta and toss gently.
  • place the salad in to a serving dish and keeep chilled till ready to serve .
