Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream butter and sugar until light.
- Beat in egg, vanilla and salt.
- Gradually stir in flour.
- Shape dough into 2 rolls, each about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 6 inches long.
- Roll each in 1/4 cup of the pecans to coat outside.
- Wrap in waxed paper; chill thoroughly.
