Ingredients

  • 6 green peppers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. diced onions
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. rice, prepared
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. tomato soup

Method

  • Cut tops off peppers.
  • Remove stems and seeds.
  • Wash and drain. Combine meat, onions, salt, pepper, boiled rice, egg and 1/2 can tomato soup; mix well. Stuff peppers with this mixture. Place stuffed peppers in covered saucepan. Add rest of tomato soup with enough water to have 1 1/2-inches in the pan.
  • Simmer 30 minutes or until meat is cooked.
