Ingredients

  • 4 large well scrubbed potatoes
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 oz. chopped ham
  • 3/4 c. grated cheese
  • a little milk
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Prick potatoes with a fork.
  • Put them on a baking tray.
  • Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • Push a skewer through the biggest potato.
  • If it is soft, it is cooked.
  • Cut potatoes in half lengthways and scoop out the middles.
  • Mash potato in a bowl.
  • Add rest of ingredients and mix everything together well.
  • Fill potato skins with the mixture and bake them for another 15 minutes.
  • Decorate with parsley.
