Ingredients

  • 300 grams strawberries
  • 8 slices halloumi cheese
  • 1 cup mixed greens
  • 15 fresh mint leaves
  • 15 basil leaves
  • balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon juice

Method

  • Cut the strawberries in 4 pieces, put them in a bowl, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, half the lemon juice, and 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the fresh mint and basil.
  • In a frying pan, brown the halloumi in olive oil until golden.
  • Add the lettuce to the strawberry mixture, mix gently.
  • Check seasoning, add oil or vinegar if necessary.
  • In each plate, lay 2 slices of halloumi, then add the strawberry and salad mixture.
  • Serve with a slice of toasted bread.
