Ingredients
- 1 pkg. brownie mix
- 1 qt. strawberries
- 1 container whipped topping, thawed
Method
- Grease two 9-inch round layer cake pans.
- Line with wax paper, extending up sides of pans.
- Grease wax paper.
- Prepare brownie mix as package directs for cake-like brownies.
- Put into prepared pans.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until top springs back when touched.
- Cool, then put this together just like a strawberry shortcake:
- one layer of brownie, next half of strawberries, then half of the whipped topping, then another layer of brownie, then rest of whipped topping, then rest of strawberries.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
