Ingredients

  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 16 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 angel food cake

Method

  • Make jello with 2 1/2 cups boiling water; stir well.
  • Add juice from strawberries; stir well.
  • Add berries and cool until slightly thickened (about 2 hours).
  • Fold in Cool Whip.
  • Tear cake in pieces and cover bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan with half of cake. Pour half of jello mixture over cake.
  • Top with rest of cake, then rest of jello mixture.
  • Chill.
