Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough
  • 4 oz. chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 pkg. dry vanilla pudding mix (regular, not instant)
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar

Method

  • Grease with margarine a 10 x 13-inch cake pan.
  • Place nuts on bottom.
  • Partially thaw in refrigerator for several hours the bread dough; slice and place over nuts.
  • Make slices about 1-inch thick. Mix dry pudding mix, cinnamon and brown sugar.
  • Sprinkle over dough.
  • Place 6 tablespoons margarine randomly on top in chucks. Cover with dish towel and let stand overnight on counter.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  • Invert on tray and serve.
