Ingredients
- 1 c. white flour
- 1 c. graham flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 c. seedless raisins (optional)
Method
- Sift white flour with soda and salt; add sugar and graham flour.
- Add remaining ingredients; beat well.
- Half-fill 4 greased 1-pound fruit cans; cover tightly and steam 1 1/2 hours on rack in covered pan, using small amount of boiling water.
