Ingredients

  • 1 large sirloin tip steak
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 Tbsp. marjoram
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • dash of salt and pepper

Method

  • Put steak in roasting pan.
  • Fill with water until just covering steak.
  • Mix soup in with water.
  • Chop onion up and add it and all other ingredients to the water.
  • Cover.
  • Bake in oven at 275° for about 4 hours.
  • Check occasionally after 2 1/2 to 3 hours to make sure the water is still there.
  • If the water gets too low, add a little.
  • Also check the steak with a fork and when it falls apart easily, it's done.
  • The water and soup mixture makes the gravy.
